The Humane Society of Loudoun County (HSLC) is a non-profit animal welfare organization that was founded in 1966. Since then, HSLC has saved tens of thousands of animal lives. As a foster-based organization, we do not have a physical shelter. We can only save animals when we have a foster home to place them in.

HSLC adopts the no-kill equation so that all adoptable animals are saved. We contribute to Virginia servings as a national leader in the no-kill movement.
