Madhaunter’s Madhouse is thrilled to announce their all-new immersive Fright Event for 2019: the Madhaunter’s Madhouse Pop-Up Haunt presented by ChefScape on select nights from October 25 through November 2, 2019.

***Please note different times for full-scare “Madhaunter’s Madhouse” and Glow Stick Night events (7p-11p) and “Family Hours,” a less-scary family-friendly event from 4p-7p.***

Chosen as 2018’s “#1 Must-See Haunt” in Virginia by thousands of scare-loving fans at, Madhaunter’s Madhouse haunted attractions continue to achieve both popular and critical success, including Virginia’s “Top Haunt” in 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019 by industry experts at

This year, they’ve re-imagined their DC-area Halloween-themed event and have partnered with ChefScape to present a brand new pop-up haunt. The haunt will feature blood-curdling screams, endless scares, and the region’s most terrifying scareactors in a 6-8 minute, indoor fright experience.

Madhouse Pop-Up Haunt: Open from 7p-11p (Oct. 25, 26, 31, Nov. 1, Nov. 2), featuring full-throttle scares, special effects, lights, and sounds. Appropriate for ages 13+. Tickets $10 per person online or at the door. Participants receive 5% off their food purchase in the ChefScape Food Hall with proof of “Haunt Ticket” purchase, valid on date of ticket only. (This is a popular event that sells out most nights, we encourage guests to buy online to avoid disappointment.)

Glow Stick Night: Join them on October 27th from 7p-11p for Glow Stick Night. They’ll turn out all the lights and you’ll have to escape the Madhouse and its terrifying monsters with only a single glow stick to light the way. Tickets $10 per person.

New for 2019: They’re opening early each night in 2019 (Oct. 25, 26, 27, 31, Nov. 1, Nov. 2) to offer “Family Hours” from 4p-7p, where families with younger children can experience the haunt with lighting, sound, and special effects turned on, but without the scares and scareactors. This less-intense haunt experience is perfect for younger children (or adults) who are looking for a little spooky fun but aren’t fans of hard-core scares or terrifying monsters. Tickets for Family Hours are $5 per person.
